Today is September 4 which means it is the one month anniversary of our wedding!
After two nights in Athens, Miss Niss (trying out my new name) flew on a tiny plane to Santorini. We spent four nights in Santorini and had almost six days because of the way our travel worked out. I’m so happy that we spent the bulk of our time in Santorini. The island is beautiful! We had time to sleep in, relax on our balcony, sit by the pool, drive our ATV to the beach, tour the island, and walk around the cliff. Our hotel was in Imerovigli, which is between Fira, the capital, and Oia, the town on the tip of the island known for having the best view of the sunset. I highly recommend staying in Imerovigli if you’re considering a trip to Santorini. We watched the sun set from a different part of the island each night and the rumors are true – the sunset from Santorini is the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen.
We also ate the best on this magical island.
I loved every minute of our time in Santorini. Next up – one of the best restaurants on the island. It needs its own post!
