As a tribute to her soon-to-be former neighborhood, A-Tooch posts her final recommendation on good eats in the FiDi before she moves uptown tomorrow:
Harry’s Italian Pizza Bar located at 2 Gold St. (home of the former Gold Street Diner which I loved, but apparently no one else did because it closed) is home to some tasty, reasonably priced Italian food.
Another Italian spot, you say?! But A-Tooch is such a hard critic! I know, I know. But this place is delish. Go on a date, with a group of friends, or with your family – I’ve done all three. The portions are rather odd – an individual size is too small to eat on your own and the family size is too much for once person. Go figure. I manage to finish my fair share nonetheless.
I recommend: Calzone with spinach, penne ala vodka, white pizza, chicken francese
