A-Tooch is a big fan of granola bars — not exactly as a meal substitute, but as a snack or lunch supplement. (Or, maybe you just eat five granola bars for lunch and call it a day…)
I recently tried a few stellar new g-bars and wanted to shout them out for you, as well as some of my long-time favs.
The original. My go-to, sweet tooth, lo-cal snack. I buy these puppies in the variety pack but PB Choc Chip is my fav.
Protein bar that made me feel full for hours = awesome. Plus I’m a sucker for anything with malt flavor.
*NEW FAV ALERT* This thing tastes just like banana bread. An awesome treat. Probably too high in calories for just a snack bar but made for an awesome breakfast.
When I was on my Raw Diet kick for a few days, I ate these for breakfast. They really are amazing. Vegetarian, Vegan, Raw, delicious. I tried a couple flavors but the Cherry Cashew was my fav. Oh, and you can’t turn down a cuteness company story like Pure Bar‘s?!

I am a fan of the Quaker Chewy’s, mainly because they are yummy, and because they only have 90 calories, so they are truly one of the bars that is actually a SNACK and not a mini to large meal!
I used to love the Quaker Oats bars! I’d buy them in high school to go with my lunch. YUM!
Haven’t tried the Pure Bar. Sounds tasty, I love bars that are mainly fruit and nuts.
