Cupcake Camp Boston gets a little better every year. Miss Yunks had a great time at Cupcake Camp last year, and this year it was even easier to eat her way through dozens of cupcakes.
This year, VIP tickets were available for $20, which was donated to Lovin’ Spoonfuls. VIP ticket holders were allowed early access to the event and were allowed to bypass the line at any time. I bought my VIP ticket as soon as I found out about the offer and it worked out perfectly. When I arrived just after 7pm, the line was already down the street but I just walked right into Cupcake Camp.
This year, the cupcakes were possibly more creative than last year and bakers understood that cupcake eaters preferred mini cupcakes. And now, here are some noteworthy cupcakes:

Most unexpected ingredient award goes to the mashed potato cupcake. The cake was a little too dry, but the frosting was rich in chocolate flavor and I loved the chocolate dipped chip.

These guys crush cereal in a blender and use it like flour. Cinnamon Toast Crunch cupcake really tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch because it's in the cake!

Buzz around the room had it that these were the best cupcakes by an amateur. I felt lucky to get one of the last s'mores cupcakes! I loved the ganache middle!
I’m so glad that Cupcake Camp Boston had another successful year! People’s love for cupcakes just keeps growing and that makes us foodies very happy. I can’t wait to see what near year brings!
Did you make it to Cupcake Camp this year? What was your favorite cupcake?
