Last week Miss Yunks and BF had a perfectly delicious dinner at Boston Burger Co in Davis Square. I had a BuyWithMe coupon to use and I was beyond exhausted, in desperate need of some comfort food.
Fries are my new favorite indulgent comfort food and the fries section of the menu alone was enough to convince me to buy the coupon deal for Boston Burger Co. I can’t think of another menu that devotes a whole section to fries. Boston Burger Co offers 12 different fry varieties. I decided immediately to order the Garlic Parm Fries.
I knew from looking around the restaurant that one order was enough to share. Thick potato wedges filled an angled bowl that could have fed three people. It seemed the wedges were floating in a garlic butter sauce and sprinkled with some parm cheese. They could have used more garlic and more parm, but the potato wedges were delicious. Crispy on the outside, soft potato on the inside. I pushed myself to eat as many as I could, but we failed to finish. Sorry, fries.
For my meal, I ordered the Veggie Burger. Described as a vegetarian burger topped with avocado, roasted peppers, marinated tomatoes, mixed field greens and balsamic vinaigrette, this was the best veggie burger I’ve had, possibly ever, or at least since my veggie burger at Max Brenner.
I just love everything about this burger. The tomato salsa, the avocado hidden under the burger, the roasted red pepper, and even the bun were all perfection on their own. Combined, this was one tasty burger. The sweet potato chips on the side were also really tasty. I didn’t eat the coleslaw, but BF enjoyed it.
For his meal, he ordered the Killer Bee, Topped with American cheese, bacon, a stack of beer battered onions rings and honey BBQ sauce.
This looks good even to a vegetarian. A burger topped with onion rings and BBQ sauce? That definitely works. He chose a side of baked beans.
I can’t wait to go back to Boston Burger Co and make my way through the fry menu. I want to try the Greek fries, the pizza fries, and the original. I also to want try different burger toppings and the mac and cheese appetizer. BF enjoyed his burger too, so let’s hope he’s on board with being a regular here

A fries menu? And Greek fries? And I can get avocado on my burger? MUST go!
Although I do like beef burgers, I’m also a big fan of turkey and vegetarian burgers. I’ve sadly found that a lot of places have TERRIBLE veggie burgers so I’m happy to hear how good this one was!
looks yummy 12 diff kinds of fries? that sold me haha.
Mac and cheese appetizer? I’m there.
This place sounds great. I’m always looking for excuses to go to Davis Square.
So good to know about this veggie burger. Thanks Melissa! I’ve passed by this place so many times and I’ve wondered how it is.
Boston Burger Co does a great burger! Too bad it’s so far from me otherwise I would go more often!
