Moving is not fun. Take it from A-Tooch, who has moved four times in the past six years. It is stressful, time consuming and disorienting.
You wouldn’t notice, but I don’t do well with change
Once I unpacked enough boxes to clear a path to my kitchen, I decided to whip up an inaugural batch of cookies to welcome myself to the new place. My lack of basic ingredients led me to something simple. In true celebratory form, the cookies I opted for were neither low in fat nor an all-star recipe. They included nearly a half-jar of Nutella. And I loved every morsel of them.
Easy Nutella Cookies
(adapted from Pinterest recipes)
1 cup Nutella (give or take)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and add 1 tsp. of water if the mixture is too dry. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Flatten each cookie with the bottom of a glass. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the middle is slightly soft.
